FAQ's
Will Rock-on-a-Roll affect fish or plants? No. It will not affect the chemistry of the pond's water in any way, and will have no affect on the health of fish or plants.
How flexible is Rock-on-a-Roll? The flexibility of Rock-on-a-Roll varies to some extent with temperature. When it is warmed in the sun, it becomes almost as flexible as rubber.
Do I still need a rubber or plastic liner when using Rock-on-a-Roll? Yes. Rock-on-a-Roll is a covering for the liner. It does not hold water itself.
Do I use Rock-on-a-Roll on the bottoms of my ponds? Not usually. Rock-on-a-Roll is meant to decorate the upper edges of the pond. The pond's bottom with become natural looking on its own over time.
Do I need to seam Rock-on-a-Roll pieces together? Not usually. The pieces can be overlapped, with a few stones placed to hide the place where they meet.
Can Rock-on-a-Roll be glued to the liner? Yes. Non water-based contact cement can be used, as can polyurethane expanding foam (Great Stuff), silicon glue, or any other waterproof adhesive.
How long will Rock-on-a-Roll last? Rock-on-a-Roll is not affected by UV radiation, water emersion, freeze/thaw cycles or any other enviromental factors. It will provide years of service.
Is Rock-on-a-Roll available in stores? Not at this time.
Who invented Rock-on-a-Roll? Rock-on-a-Roll was developed by Northern Water Gardens, and Aquatica Water Gardens for use in our customers ponds.
Is there a guarantee? Yes. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase of Rock-on-a-Roll, you may return it at our expense, regardless of its condition.
What is Rock-on-a-Roll made of? Rock-on-a-Roll is made of a variety of polymers. No cementitious materials are used. |
